Overview

The economic recovery from Covid-19 offers an opportunity to accelerate reforms in Vocational Education and Training (VET) and strengthen its resilience, notably by the digitalization learning offers and methods and agile adaptation to changing labour market needs.

The CIRCULO project aims to support VET providers to provide high-quality online education to underpin a bright and sustainable future for learners and the environment by presenting a bespoke range of resources that develop circular knowledge infused with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Objectives

The project aims to provide VET learners, young people, and workers with an online training map for:

  • Building and understanding the principles of a circular economy.
  • Developing a toolkit to build entrepreneurial spirit based on the Ideas & Opportunities section of the EntreComp framework.
  • Gaining a broader understanding of VET practices and improving the competencies in teaching VET professionals through the planned learning activities and the online e-Network.

Resources

Toolkit of Digital Skills Development: A practical toolkit that will aim to build an entrepreneurial spirit based on the Ideas & Opportunities section of the EntreComp framework.

Training manual for the digital pedagogy: This will support VET tutors providing appropriate sustainable business development support and vocational guidance to potential innovators as the circular economy develops, building an entrepreneurial spirit within the VET learner target group.

e-Learning Platform and eNetwork: This will provide access to the CIRCULO Training Map for the development of circular economy principles and Toolkit for entrepreneurial competencies and all learning resources developed. It will also host and provide access to the complete Train-the-trainer package and will have all the features of a MOOC.

Mindshift Talent Advisory

Mindshift Talent Advisory is consulting company specialised in Human Resources that invests in the performance and upskilling of people’s competences, seeking to boost the digital and interpersonal maturity in organisations and society.

At national level, Mindshift Talent Advisory has as one of its main partners The Key Talent Portugal, a HR Tech Consulting specialised in Social Attraction and Talent Assessment that develops platforms, such as Panorama and AplyGo, that allow to optimise, implement and manage digital, agile and attractive HR processes based on data analysis.

At European level, we are a strategic partner for the development of transnational cooperation projects aiming at to create innovative solutions in the area of youth and adult training, in six key-areas: upskilling & reskilling, inclusion & employability, sustainable development, women empowerment, entrepreneurship & creativity, and digital talent.

Mindshift Talent Advisory is strongly committed with principles of Social Responsibility and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, bringing together a team of staff with various backgrounds and professional experience.

Spectrum Research Centre

Spectrum Research Centre (SRC) is a not-for-profit research centre established to create a space where research and educational findings can be validated through local actions focused on community impact. We support young academics to trial and test their research hypotheses in ‘living laboratory’ environments. As the company grows, we are committed to providing researchers, trainers, and educationalists with opportunities to give their work and practice a European perspective. The main policy focus areas for SRC are:

  • Social Policy – integration of marginalised groups; unconscious bias and its impact on migrant integration; social media and xenophobia.
  • Environmental Policy – circular economy and habitat protection; carbon neutral tourism; business modelling for circular economies; comedy for climate change.
  • Education Policy – the threat of remote education to university research; serious games for addressing serious issues; cross-sector funding streams for education, gamification as an engagement strategy for digital natives.

SRC is also active in the wider community and due to the expertise in local development within the company it provides consultancy services to a wide range of organizations right across the economic landscape.

Skills Elevation FHB

Skills Elevation FHB, Germany, was established in 2019 by a range of educators, environmentalists and academics, with the aim of providing alternative educational methodologies. FHB work extensively to provide support and education for marginalised groups, especially with regards to their social, emotional and cognitive developments. FHB have three main areas of focus; the development of new pedagogic approaches, the development of training materials for marginalised adults and conducting research into social psychology, business and education.

INNOVADE

INNOVADE is a social innovation organisation with extensive expertise in designing and implementing projects and solutions in diverse settings around the globe. The team has decades of expertise in implementing over 100 projects in more than 30 countries. Areas of engagement have a primary focus on bringing about positive change in organisations and social systems. Expertise includes Adult Education, Vocational Training, Social Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship, Capacity building and Information and Communications Technology. Its goal is to assist stakeholders in defining and attaining their Strategic Goals and achieving their operational objectives by providing an exceptional level of expert support. INNOVADE works with organisations to help them streamline technological advancements and productivity tools into their processes to ensure that they improve performance, increase productivity and profitability.

CBE

CBE is a non-profit organisation established in 1982 and dedicated to Extended Local Social Dialogue.

Its objective is to promote employment, highlighting and supporting local initiatives. Private or public, individual or collective, it seeks to create synergies linked to economic activities, land planning and human potentials on which the South Luberon identity is based.

The creation and organisation of a CBE respond to a common will of local socio-economic actors. This expression of local democracy assures the efficiency and pertinence of the actions conducted.

Callidus cooperates with public institutions (Employment Services and Ministries) and possesses extensive experience and know-how in writing tender documentation and seeking financial resources which resulted in a successful completion of a dozen ADA, IPA, ESF and Erasmus + projects.
